On July 20, 2012, a mass shooting occurred at a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, United States during a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. A gunman, dressed in protective gear and clothing, set off tear gas grenades and shot into the audience with multiple firearms, killing 12 people and injuring 58 others. The sole suspect is 24-year-old James Eagan Holmes, who was arrested outside the cinema minutes later.

Down The Memory Lane: Suikoden II

As promised, this time I would write a review about Suikoden II, my favorite installation of the Suikoden series. I'm not going to talk about the game mechanics in-depth such as the normal battles, army battles and the duels which are basically the same thing as the previous installment. You can refer to this one Down The Memory Lane: Suikoden I. Nope, this time I'm gonna talk about how awesome this game is and maybe talks about some of its flaws.

This time, I'm going to tell you about the game series that changed my life (seriously, I'm not kidding). The series is called Gensō Suikoden or better known as simply Suikoden.  It  is a role-playing video game series originally created by Yoshitaka Murayama. The game series is loosely based on the classical Chinese novel, Shui Hu Zhuan by Shi Naian and Luo Guanzhong. Each individual game in the series center around relative themes of politics, corruption, revolution, mystical crystals known as True Runes and the "108 Stars of Destiny"- the 108 protagonists (Yes.. You read it right, 108 characters, bitches!) who are loosely interpreted from the source material. Though the Suikoden games follow an irregular chronological sequence of events, the entire series, well... Except for Tierkreis and Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki of course which takes place within the same world among continuing and overlapping histories. In some cases, several characters appear in multiple installations such as Viki (every 5 games), Jeane (same with Viki), Viktor & Flik (sadly only two games).

Last week, the last movie of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy had been released worldwide. I went and watch the movie. I'm not a DC fan but I do follow Batman's story. Ramadhan is here, again. Like the previous years, the Muslims will fast for a month. Training themselves in the term of endurance whatnot. But apparently not all knows the real meaning of Ramadhan. Most people said that this time, it will bring changes. But I hardly doubt it. It will be the same as the previous years. Why? People expect changes to come to them but doesn't want to change themselves. In the end, it will kept on circling in the same cycle. They will act all good and nice during the month of Ramadhan but it will only last until the first day of Syawal.
