What is Right, What is Wrong

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

It is occurred to me that lately a lot of people had been doing a lot of own business. Most of it might involve event management and staffing management. I have nothing against people who are trying to make a living but I have a thing against people who are willing to do anything necessary (In which I meant is by actually doing something shady), just to earn an extra amount of cash.

Big Bad Attitudes

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

I was offered a part-time job last two weeks ago (6th December 2012) at Big Bad Wolf Book Sale (More like a book bargain sale to me) for its Launch/Preview Day. The work is pretty much easy as we need to dressed up in our superhero's costume and be at the event from 9:30AM - 11:30AM. Since it's a pre-sale event and the actual opening for public is on the 7th, so we're eventually getting first dibs on the books that we want.

Cosplay: Now and Then

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

This time I'm going to talk about a somewhat hobby of mine apparently; Cosplay. What is cosplay you might ask? Cosplay is short for "costume play" and it is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centered on role play. A broader use of the term "cosplay" applies to any costumed role play in venues apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.

Friend Zone

Assalamualaikum / Peace Be Upon You

Recently, there is this topic that suddenly popped up during recent conversations that I had with several people that I've met. The topic is about getting into the 'Friend Zone'. What is a 'Friend Zone' you might ask? Here's what Wikipedia has to say about it;
In popular culture, the "friend zone" refers to a platonic relationship where one person wishes to enter into a romantic relationship while the other does not. The most typical friend zone situation involves a man that is romantically interested in a woman who does not reciprocate or is unaware of his interest. It is generally considered to be an undesirable situation by the lovelorn person. Once the friend zone is established, it is said to be difficult to move beyond that point in a relationship.

In The Spirit of Ramadhan al-Mubarak

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

Ramadhan is here, again. Like the previous years, the Muslims will fast for a month. Training themselves in the term of endurance whatnot. But apparently not all knows the real meaning of Ramadhan. Most people said that this time, it will bring changes. But I hardly doubt it. It will be the same as the previous years. Why? People expect changes to come to them but doesn't want to change themselves. In the end, it will kept on circling in the same cycle. They will act all good and nice during the month of Ramadhan but it will only last until the first day of Syawal.

Respect!

Assalamualaikum/Peace Upon You

Respect… A word that people wouldn’t fully understands. How can some people lose their respect on their leader? Insulting him like he has done something bad to them. I simply can pity those types of people. Heck... they even want other people to respect them but they don’t show a good example of people that should be respect at.

Like somebody once said; I’m not afraid of God. I love God. I only afraid of His wrath if I do bad things. It’s the same as why you obey your parent’s order. It’s not about fear but respect.

To be honest, I’ve seen so many people like this. They want others to respect them but they don’t respect other people. Hey dude, if you want people to respect you, you got to earn it. This is my short entry for today but remember, respect others and people will respect you. Peace and out.

Salam.

True School

Assalamualaikum/Peace Upon You

Seeing the school kids going to school everyday in front of my house reminds me off my schooldays. I envy them for having nothing big to be worried about. No bills to be paid, no need to work to obtain money and so on. But then, the school kids are eager to grow up to become adults. I guess it is true that people said that people will not be satisfied in whatever state they are. They will eventually regrets something when it already in the past. That is why school children, remember this; Listen to the teachers, learn the golden rule, learn your roots and culture and be true to yourselves. Once the time is already gone, it will not comeback. Take this advice from me, the person that is regretting for his past schooldays. Sure, homework sucks, teacher bites, rules are ridiculous but imagine of actually not knowing what to do in the future later on. Stay cool kids, stay in school.

Also remember that when you obtain knowledge, don’t get cocky with it. Share it with other people. Everybody have their own abilities in some aspects. Don’t be ignorant and stingy with your knowledge. I’m good with my cooking skills but I’m not stingy with my knowledge. I would never look down on people that doesn’t know how to cook instead I will teach them all I know about cooking if I got the chance. People like to boast about their talents that they are forgetting that they also lacking in other aspect just like other people. Like ‘Oooh.. I’m so good with my computer while you’re not. Boo hooo hooo... You are an idiot.’ Don’t be that, that is they way morons would act because they know that they doesn’t have other talents than their own special skills. That is the real piece of thrash.

This is all that I can write for now. Always remember that immature fruit is sour... producing immature fights. Thank you and have a nice day.

Salam.
