Favorite Male Main Characters (Japanese Animations)

For most people, it is call Anime (pronounced /ænɨmeɪ/) but I call it Japanese Animations. It's the Japanese abbreviated pronunciation of "animation". The definition sometimes changes depending on the context. In English-speaking countries, the term most commonly refers to Japanese animated cartoons.

I've been watching Japanese Animations since I was small. From Doraemon until the latest ones. There are several characters that I really like and somewhat adore but mostly this list is consisted of those from the new ones. Most of them have the carefree attitudes, the will of not giving up and above all loyal to the one they hold dear.

10.Natsu Dragneel (Fairy Tail)

Natsu is one of the magician that possessed the ancient art of Dragon Slayer. He is on a quest searching for his missing foster father, a dragon that goes by the name Igneel. He is a fire element users and have the ability to eat fire and uses it after finish eating it. Like fire, he is hot blooded, hot temper but he is loyal to his friends. The only thing that I dislike about him is his pinkish hair. Seriously. His weakness? He can't be inside a moving transportation without feeling sick.

9. Takuto Tsunashi (Star Driver)

Takuto is a Star Driver opposing the Holy Order of Glittering Stars to protect Wako, the South Shrine Maiden, from them. According to the Order, Takuto is the legendary "Galactic Pretty Boy" and the greatest threat to their plans. He also has two of the legendary Twelve Star Swords: Emeraude and Saphir, and his training in dual-wielding swordmanship allows him to fight skillfuly with one in each hand. His weakness? Unaware of the affections of the women around him, I supposed.

8. Ichika Orimura (Infinite Stratos)

Ichika the first male IS pilot, his new reputation has made him somewhat famous as many scientists and engineers would like to study him. His older sister, Chifuyu, is a legendary IS pilot who raised him when the siblings' parents abandoned them at a young age. Despite how harshly she treats him, he loves his sister dearly. He is protective towards the people that he loves. Weakness? He is oblivious to the fact that several girls have feelings for him.

7. Shichika Yasuri (Katanagatari)

Shichika head of the Kyotouryuu school of Japanese sword martial arts. He was raised on an isolated island in the country of Tamba, where he is found and employed by Togame with a mission to find twelve legendary swords. He doesn't wield a sword and only uses his body and fists as weapons since the Yasuri family has no talent in handling actual swords. He is in love with Togame and follows her orders even though he sometimes considers them to be a hassle. His weakness? He follows Togame's order faithfully but after she died, he became an unstoppable killing machine.

6. Kenichi Shirahama (Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple)

Kenichi is the disciple of 6 different martial artists (Karate, Jujitsu, Chinese Kenpo, Muay Thai, and others). Although it is consistently stated that Kenichi has no talent for martial arts, he more than makes up for it with his work ethic. He had to endure a hellish trainings that set up by his masters. He believes in justice and will help his friends when they are in trouble. His weakness? He lacks any form of sakki (killer intent). Because of this, many people who face him see him as a weakling and become overconfident, which usually proves their downfall. He can go unnoticed by even Master-class fighters for a period of time.

5. Guy Shishioh (King of Braves: GaoGaiGar)

Guy is a brave man with tremendous courage and enthusiasm, and the strength to never give up for the sake of life—even at the possible cost of his own. His favorite phrase is 'You can overcome anything if you have courage!' He is at first introduced as a Cyborg but after his cybernetic body would be thoroughly "infected" through the Zonuda Matter Sublimation ability. With the aid of an unconscious Mamoru, Guy performed Purification for the first time, saving her and returning them both to human form. Guy's body, having absorbed the G-Stone previously on the GaoBrace, surpassed that of a normal human; "Evoluder Guy" was born. Weakness? Apparently he has none.

4. Layfon Wolfstein Alseif (Chrome Shelled Regios)

Layfon was one of the twelve wielders of the Heaven Blades and also held the title of Wolfstein at the age of ten. He then branded as a traitor for fighting for money (which he used to support the orphanage). Inhumanely strong and possessed a strong kei, he is seem unbeatable and strong. He enjoys being needed by people, as seen in his action of joining the City Police though Military Arts students usually do not do such things. His weakness? He's not good with teamwork and also oblivious of the feelings from the women around him.

3. Gintoki Sakata (Gintama)

Gintoki is a freelancer former samurai living in an era where aliens known as the Amanto have come to Earth after the Joi War, a battle in which the latter defeated the former where he earned the nickname Shiroyasha (White Demon). He has a sweet tooth and obsession with sugary and sweet foods. He is also obsessed with reading Weekly Shounen Jump. Despite his appearance and initial behavior, Gintoki has a great amount of pride for his samurai code. He takes it upon himself to rescue or avenge not only his comrades and friends but also people he barely knows. Despite being a fearsome fighter with nearly unmatched skills, he acts like a coward most of the time to to avoid needless bloodshed after suffering the loss of most of his friends and allies during the Joi war. He is described by others as lazy, unmotivated, and useless though they see his kind, responsible, and unpredictable self. Weakness? Just damn lazy.

2. Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Edward is the youngest State Alchemist to be selected by the State Military of the country, thus receiving the title of "Fullmetal Alchemist" shortly thereafter from military head, King Bradley. He lost his right arm and left leg after a failed transmutations. He and his younger brother, which now stuck in a piece of armor, trying to find a way to get their bodies back. Edward is relentless and somewhat brave as he goes up against anything that stands in his way. He is shown to be protective on his love ones especially towards his brother and his childhood friend, Winry. Weakness? He is short and hates milk.

1. Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)

Luffy is the captain of the infamous Straw Hat Pirates. Possessed a rubber-like body, he travels the seas in search of Gol D. Roger's treasure, One Piece. Son of the Revolutionary, Monkey D. Dragon and the grandson of Navy Admiral, Monkey D. Garp. He had an oath brother, Portgas D. Ace. He is brave, loyal and have a great sense of justice despite being a pirate. He had earned respects by his crews which consisted of those he had rescued. He is incredibly strong and his dream is to become the Pirate King, surpassing Roger. He enjoys eating foods especially foods. The one thing about Luffy is he doesn't discriminate on who he should save. Weakness? He's a dead-weight on the sea making him unable to swim due to the curse of the Devil Fruit that he ate. One thing though, don't make his comrades or people he cared about cry if you don't want to feel his wrath.

The Game of Thrones

Just recently I watched the new sensation t.v. series that just being aired at HBO, The Game of Thrones. The action-fantasy based on the novels of George R.R. Martin by the title of A Song of Ice and Fire, had 2.2 million watching the first airing, and 4.2 million overall for the night including repeat airings. That’s notably less than the numbers for the last big HBO premiere, Boardwalk Empire, but that show was set in a recognizable reality (1920 Atlantic City) and contained some real historical figures in its cast. The hope is that the new series can build on its current cult following.

The series had somewhat Lord of the Ring theme in it. It's like a medieval age where Kings rule the land and honor and nobility are looked up to. If you ain't a noble than you are nothing. The story about the Noble Houses that fought to obtain the Iron Throne that are supposed to said the King of all the Lands to sit upon.

The story mainly focused on the House of Stark where it revolved around Eddard Stark, the head of House Stark, one of the Great Houses of Westeros. He rules over the vast province known as the North from the castle of Winterfell. He is married to the Lady Catelyn of House Tully and has five legitimate children: Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon. He also has an illegitimate bastard son (illegitimate more likely), Jon Snow, reportedly by a common serving girl named Wylla. Jon's presence at Winterfell is a source of friction between Eddard and his wife. . He then was offered the job as the Hand of the King by the current King, Robert Baratheon.

As the story progress, there are several different POVs on the characters inside the series which explained some of the reason what is happening and why the things happened. I truly recommend this series to any fantasy lovers out there. However this series does contain some vulgar words and explicit scenes in it as it was aimed for matured viewers.

My favorite characters in this series? It would be Tyrion Lannister, which nicknamed the imp since he is a dwarf. He is an interesting character for me because he is smart, sarcastic, snide but have a soft spot for something imperfect and unwanted. The next would be Jon Snow, the bastard son of Eddard Stark. Even though he is unwanted because he is isn't the illegal son, he still care for his step-siblings. The last one would be Arya Stark, the tomboy daughter of Eddard Stark. Well, I got a soft spot for strong-willed girls.

Alas, all I can say is The Winter is Coming.

Eddard Stark played by Sean Bean which people might know him as Boromir from Lord of the Ring.

Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage. He was voted by many fans and even by George R. R. Martin himself to play as the character Tyrion.

John Snow played by Kit Harington, the tragic character in the series. Though he is Stark's son, he wasn't born in the legal way.

Arya Stark played by Maisie Williams. Her character enjoys swordplays and have a tomboyish characteristics. I like it when she cut her hair short.

P.S.: I can't wait for the next season which will be scheduled to be aired in Spring 2012.

I've been playing Video Games since I was in primary school. Most of the games that I've played are Role-Playing Video games which consisted long hours of playing. These are the list of Main Characters that I love and enjoy playing as them. Some of them are normal human, super-powered humans, monsters and others. It's their reason and principles that really amuses me along with their characteristics.

10. Serge (Chrono Cross)Serge was a normal village boy until he was sent to an another dimension where he live changed forever after he met a girl that goes by the name of Kid. Alongside with the allies that he gained during his journey, he fought against the diabolical cat-like creature, Lynx and save time and dimensions.

9. Ryu (Breath of Fire IV)Forgotten who he was, Ryu traveled the continent with his new-found friends, Nina and Cray that are searching for Nina's missing sister. He met various people along the way and fought countless battles. As the game progress, it is reveals that he is the other half of the Dragon God, Fou-Lu. He is the reincarnation of the previous Ryus in Breath of Fire games.

8. Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear)Sol is from a fighting game which I considered him a badass. He lost his memories but only managed to remember that his life was ruined by a man that he called; That Man. It is later revealed that he is a prototype Gear. He wield a sword that is called Fireseal. His age is actually more that 100 years old.

7. Souji Seta (Persona 4)The silent protagonist of Persona 4. Same like Arisato Minato, his personality and characteristic depends on the player. Based on his maxed Social Links, he is liked by all, man or woman. His charming, dependable and brave to the boot. The leader of an investigation group, he solved a big mystery revolving around the Midnight Channel.

6. Dean Stark (Wild Arms Vth Vanguard)

A carefree and strong-willed young boy. He wishes to become a Golem Hunter like his idol, Nightburn. His life changed when he met a young girl that fall from the sky in a Golem's arm, Avril. She gave him a dual gun ARMs and he, Avril and his best friend, Rebecca set out on a journey to find out who Avril really is. His signature punchline is: "You can do anything as long as you don't give up!"

5. Riou (Suikoden II)

The silent protagonist of Suikoden II. He is the adoptive son of the Great Hero Genkaku. He lived with his adoptive sister but all that changed when his country branded him and his best friend traitor. He then lead a band of mercenary to fight against a diabolical prince who only brings chaos. Eventually he had to fight against his best friend, Jowy. Wielder of the Bright Shield Rune, he is a pure heart young boy.

4. Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney)
Phoenix Wright is defense attorney who have a just heart and an iron will. He had only lost his case once but it doesn't matter to him as long as he know that he did the right thing. He believe in his clients and furthermore, he believes in his friends even though they are somewhat troublesome. He is well known for shouting; "OBJECTION!!"

3. Ramza Beoulve (Final Fantasy Tactics)

Ramza Beoulve also known as Ramza Lugria, is the main protagonist from Final Fantasy Tactics. At first he was a man who believes that lineage is everything but then changed. He fights only to keep his sister safe and still go on and rescue her even though had been branded as a heretic by the church. He is a man with principles and has his own way of justice.

2. Raidou Kuzunoha XIV (Devil Summoner)
Hails from a great devil summoner clan, the Kuzunoha Clan. Originally a student at Yumizuki Imperial High School, Raidou went through extensive training until he was ready to undergo a series of trials and earned his title as the next Raidou Kuzunoha. His duty is to protect the Capital from the demons of the Dark Realm, and ensure that the supernatural world is kept in check. He is a high school student, a detective in training and also a devil summoner, what more could you ask? Plus he is a skilled swordsman and also a good shooter.

1. Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)

Seriously, this man is somewhat the embodiment of badass. When Solid Snake isn't listening to his codec or crawling inside a box, he's beating up some pretty crazy enemies. From taking down giant Metal Gears to fighting strange people (Psycho Mantis , Vulcan Raven, Beauty and Beast unit, Vamp), nothing can stop him, not even old age. He took out a tank using hand grenades, he took out a HIND with a missile launcher during a blizzard and he fought against old age to battle against his enemies. He is the truly most favorite video game characters that I like.

I've been a fan of this two comic franchises since I was a kid. Even though the one that I read mostly consisted of Spider-Man, Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Punisher, and Ms. Marvel, I still consider some of the other characters in this two series are somewhat cool also.

Here is the list of my favorite characters in this two series. Consisted of super powered humans, mutants, anti-hero, hero, villains and others.

MarvelSpider-Man (Peter Benjamin Parker) - Well, of course. This is my favorite Marvel Superhero. He is smart, witty, chatterbox, not to mention loyal. Doesn't my blog name already gave it away?

Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) - For super-heroin, she is my favorite. She is strong, and the same time she is quite smexy and alluring.

Deadpool (Wade Wilson) - Nicknamed The Merc with Mouth. He is the character that managed to break the 4th Wall barrier. His witty remarks and comments are actually based on meme on the internet. You like chimichanga?
Wolverine (James 'Logan' Howlett) - The animal. For X-Men, he is my favorite (not that much). He's hairy, somewhat invincible, can heal fast not to mention had scored so many ladies even though he is hairy. Did I mentioned he has a son with a Japanese girl?
The Punisher (Frank Castle) - He is The Punisher. He punished all the wrongdoers. My favorite kind of anti-hero. Even though he had no superpowers, he managed to take down a few super-powered humans with his military training and tactical skills.

Human Torch (Johnny Storm) - He is Spidey's most trusted friend and rival. Even though is street smart, he is somewhat cool. He might be brash, idiotic, immature but you can always rely on him. He is not the first to use the codename Human Torch.
Doctor Doom (Victor von Doom) - For villain, he is my favorite. Smart, cunning, great tactical skills and above all loyal to his country.
Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) - Possessed by an ethereal entity name Zatharos, he roams around looking for people with a great amount of sins and judge them. What I like about him is his cool motorcycle.
Magneto (Max Eisenhardt) - Even though he is Jewish, I like him because of his personalities. He is strong, his willpower is overwhelming, not to mention even though he is an enemy to Xavier, he still helps him when trouble arises.

Venom / Anti-Venom (Eddie Brock) - Venom had always be my favorite anti-hero character. He is misunderstood, trying to save people from trouble. All he wants was Spidey to die! After Brand New Day, he returns as Anti-Venom which kinda cool since I think the new Venom (McGargan) is shitty.

DC Comics
Batman (Bruce Wayne) - A billionaire, a martial artist, a flamboyant man, he is the caped crusader of Gotham City. Even though his cold demeanor, he is a nice person and a loyal friend not to mention a great teacher.
Power Girl (Kara Zor-L / Karen Starr) - She is Superman's cousin from another universe, Earth-Two. She possessed all Superman's superpowers. Do I really need to state why I like her?

Nightwing (Richard 'Dick' Grayson) - The son of the Flying Graysons. The first Robin. He is witty and a chatterbox just like Spider-Man. After being fired by Batman as Robin, he returns with his own mantle as Nightwing. He is a member of the Teen Titans which he led when he is needed.Robin (Timothy Drake) - He is the 3rd Robin. He is strong and have a great leadership skills which was proven when he led the Teen Titans. He is now goes by the name of Red Robin.Superboy (Kon-El / Conner Kent) - The clone of Superman, he possessed all of Superman's traits. Tim Drake's best friend and Cassandra's (Wonder Girl) lover. He is the member of the Teen Titans. He sacrificed his life to stop Superboy-Prime but apparently survived.Red Hood (Jason Todd) - The 2nd Robin. After being killed by the Joker, he is thrown inside the Lazarus Pit and was revived. He returns as the Red Hood, a persona which the Joker had used in his past. He is ruthless and a killing machine.

Joker - Real name unknown. Origin unknown. He is a sadistically maniac who goes around killing people for the sake of fun. He likes to take credits for those crimes that he committed. He is the whole reason why I hates Ronald McDonald.

Raven (Rachel Roth) - A black magic user. She is a mysterious girl. In love with Dick Grayson which caused him his marriage to Koriand'r (Starfire). She is also a member of the Teen Titans.

Superboy-Prime (Kal-El / Clark Kent) - He is the counterpart of Superman. Originated from Earth-Prime, he is the most powerful Super character. Much more stronger than Superman himself. It take the entire Justice League, Teen Titans and other superheroes to take him down.

I have several characters that I hated in this two comic franchises which I shall post it later on.

Yesterday, I was happy as my sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl who they named Aisyah Illisnul Nafhah. I was filled with joy because God had given me a new niece after He had given me two (handful) nephews.

Today, I was filled with sadness as Wan Muhammad Arif, one of my best friends, ex-secondary schoolmate from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Ismail, Kemaman, had passed away yesterday due to a traffic accident near Geliga, Kemaman.

He was better known as Bender. I will never forget him, i will never forget the mischievous stuffs that we usually did with Amir Imran, Afiq Affendy and Khizan.

Goodbye Bender. You will be missed.

Professor Layton X Ace Attorney

I really couldn't believe this news! Level 5, creator of the famous detective Prof. Layton has announced that they will do a crossover with Capcom's ace attorney Naruhodo Ryuichi (Phoenix Wright in the west) in an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS.

Currently known only as “Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney”, the real title will be created by Gyakuten Saiban’s creator Takumi Shuu. The story will be set in a medieval era, and will involve witches and also “puzzles with contradiction”, according to Level 5.

How Phoenix got to that time line, I'm not entirely sure but apparently he is defending a girl that had been accused of being a witch by Professor Layton.

I personally would love to play this game since I'm a big fan of Ace Attorney series.

Satria – The Warriors of the 7 Elements

Apparently, Gonzo and Malaysia Animation Studio will do a collaboration in making an animation series of the Epic of Hang Tuah.

The new project will be called Satria – The Warriors of the 7 Elements. Slated for fall 2012, it will have 24 episodes, and will be directed by the aforementioned Kitakubo-san who also directed the anime series Blood: The Last Vampire. Don’t expect this to be a high octane, full of stereotype Japanese anime cliche however, as it’s targeted to young teens aged between 9 to 14.

Apparently the antagonist inside this animation will be the 7 Siluman. And apparently this venture was announced way back in 2007, and was in Funcel’s website. Hmmm... Waiting for a long time apparently. 6 years in progress.

Personally, my ideal of an hero would be Hang Jebat since he believes in friendship and trust unlike Hang Tuah which only follow orders without questioning them. Sadly the voice acting recruiting was opened to popular artists. I want to do voice acting for Hang Jebat. \(╬ ಠ益ಠ)/

Spider-Man™: Shattered Dimensions

Activision has released the first details of Spider-Man™: Shattered Dimensions, the newest entry of non-stop heroic action to star the iconic wall-crawler. The video game is scheduled for release in September 2010 and will allow players to travel through four different worlds as distinctly different versions of Spider-Man from four universes across Marvel lore, two of which are announced today: The Amazing Spider-Man (Earth-616) and Spider-Man Noir ( (Earth-7207).

I really hope the other two would be Ultimate Spider-Man (Earth-1606) and Ninja Spider-Man (Earth-2301). I can't wait for this to be release in September, 2010. Gonna get myself a PS3 or an X-Box360.

Video Games live just finished last Saturday and I'm being slowpoke by writing this blog entry now. Heh. For the first time, this event is being held in Malaysia. Luckily for me, it was at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (Plenary Hall) which located quite near to my house. At first I thought it was going to be held at the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra but I was wrong.

What made this event awesome was there were so many game OSTs that were being played. Not to mention the special appearance of Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino from Japan who performed his hit song "Snake Eater" (from Metal Gear Solid 3) with the symphony!

Not to mentioned that Tommy Tollarico is actually a fan of Spider-Man and he have his Spider-Man electric guitar to proves it when he brought it on the stage to perform. I shouted 'Fuck Yeah' out loud when I saw this. I couldn't forgot that they played my all time favorite video games such as Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Mega Man, and Metal Gear Solid.

Thank you, Video Games Live for coming to Malaysia. You guys better perform next year!!

Otaku (おたく/オタク) is a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly animation, manga, and video games. Female otaku are occasionally referred to as fujoshi.

As quoted above, an otaku is someone who is really obsessed with something. Ask them about their particular line of interest, and they will sure be able to tell and describe to you any facts about it. As such, an AniWota in Japan is regarded as one of the most important core target in terms of merchandising and DVD/Blu-Ray sales, since these are the guys who will fork out whatever and however much is needed to acquire that item. Thus why we are seeing how the direction of animation as a whole itself is changing, as they are trying to cater to the needs of these group. What they want, is what the animation studios will give them.

I would like to ask all the people in this forum that claimed themselves to be an Otaku, some questions. If you are a so called otaku from Malaysia, try asking yourself, how much do you really know about the animation you watch? Honestly in Malaysia there lies a misconception that if you watch animation, you’re automatically an “otaku”. WTF man, most of you don’t even know what the word really mean but you classify yourself as one? Do you know the names of every seiyuu? Do you buy all the DVD/Blu-Ray releases of the series? Do you spends your money relentlessly on any Japanese animaton merchandises without complaining on how high the prices are? Do you know who is Kawajiri Yoshiaki, Nagai Go, Ishiguro Noburo or Terasawa Buichi? Do you know who is Norio Wakamoto, Sakamoto Maaya, Fukuyama Jun, the most awesome Tomokazu Sugita or Hayashibara Megumi?

Lately, I found out it is irritating that there are some of people that only watched a couple of animations claimed that they are in fact an Otaku. That's not all, this so-called-otaku only buy animation DVDs that are being sold at some local shops and claimed it is original but in fact those things are Hong Kong bootlegs DVDs. I wonder if they really KNOW what original merchandise really means. I don’t think they are THAT stupid to not realize that the HK bootlegs DVD/VCDs are not original. But then again this is Malaysia. How do you show support for that particular series? Sure, by buying bootlegs of it, and proudly show them off…

A real otaku would go and try to buy the original release of that particular series. You bought pirated DVDs and you claimed yourself as an otaku? PTUI! Heck, even the figurines they buy are the Chinese knock off that cost just a fraction. And they are saying they are proud to be fans. Fans that are making the pirates richer by leeching off the hard work of others? If you say that the price is so high, there is a saying; Hendak seribu daya, taknak seribu dalih. If there is a will, there is a way. Bah! Not to mention to the people that doesn't cough up a single cent but just downloading the stuffs from the net and say that they are true fans. Do you know that the Japanese animation industry is actully going down? If they went any down further, all of those animation that you guys watch will either be stopped or the quality will go down.

I once met this so-called-otaku that claimed that he is a true fan of animations but when I asked him either he know about Shishio Gai, Nekki Basara, or even Captain Harlock, he answered he never heard of them.WTF?! You don't know that characters and you said you are an otaku? Man, what a sad thing this is turning out to be.

I would like to make it clear that I was never an otaku. I only like watching animation, reading comic books and playing video games. I have never been a hardcore fans of animations/comic books; I just like to watch/read them, but never to the point of obsessive interest. Heck! Even the first animation that I watched wasn't from Japan, it was from America and my favorite character wasn't even from Japanese animation whatsover, it's Spider-Man. I collect Spider-Man's stuffs either it is original or pirated but lately most of it is original. :P

Oh yeah, in case people were wondering this subject was inspired by linkinstreet's post at his blog (http://wakarimasenlol.com/2010/03/11/the-sad-case-of-malaysian-otaku/4193). I already asked him if I can use some of the contents inside his post for this and he approved.

You know how people tend to make fun of you when your hobbies are slightly different from theirs? Like when you said you’re not into football and such, they treated you like a weird person just because you’re different then them.

I’ve encountered these types of people every time in my life. They tend to make fun and ridicule you when you stated that you enjoyed watching animation, reading comic books, and watching toku series. They will label you as childish and immature. Poke at you whenever they had the chance even though you didn’t do anything to them.

I got this person where I used to know. He likes to ridicule me whenever he saw me watching any animu or toku series. He would say; “Kau ni macam budak-budak ah, tak matang langsung. Dah besar tengok cerita macam ni. Bazir duit langsung.” (You’re just like a kid, very immature. You’re a grown up but still watching this sort of shows. Only wasting money). So I then reply; “Bazir duit? Sekurang-kurangnya aku tak bakar duit aku dengan beli rokok. Dah la rosakkan diri pastu nak bunuh orang lain lagi. Mak bapak aku tak kisah pun aku ada hobi macam ni. Yang kau nak sibuk kenapa? Mak bapak kau tahu ke yang kau habiskan duit dekat rokok?” (Wasting money? At least I don’t burn my money on buying cigarettes. Not only killing yourself but others too. My parent doesn’t mind of me having these kinds of hobbies. So why do you like to nag about it? Does your parent know about you smoking?).

You know the funny thing is? The people who like to ridicule people who like to watch animu and such, likes to watch the so-called kiddy shows such as Naruto and Bleach. Hypocrisy? I don’t think so, they are just to imbecile to see that what they are watching is also called a kiddy shows. Sure, animu is made for kids and so does mango and toku series. I only watch it because it is my hobby since I was little. I’m not stopping just because I had grown up. It’s a hobby. As long as I got a life and not neglecting my job as a Muslim, it is fine.

I remember one time there is a guy how made fun of me about my hobby but a few months later, he asked me either I have new animu for him to watch. I only managed to laugh at him and told him that I thought he would never want to watch kiddy shows. He replied that he was bored and it was the only thing that he could borrow from me.

In this world nowadays, people will only like things that they had familiar with and tends to make fun out of something that is new. Up until now, this type of hobby is nothing more than child’s hobby in the mind set of some of people not only in Malaysia but across the world. For me, I don’t care what others might think as long as I only treated this as a hobby and not get too hype with it.

Anime-Shrine October Fest

Anime-Shrine had organized another gathering between their old forummers which is located in a place where only the people that went to previous gathering will know. I arrived there early as usual and helped out linkinstreet with his purchasing of 20 nos of 1901’s hotdogs which was ordered by other members. I sat there with him and leeched all the animu, and toku series that I asked him to buy.

After 1 p.m., wanvader arrived and after that people like RangerKarl, Czero, Oyaji and Steno also arrived at the meeting area. And then Exiled_Gundam paid a surprised visit to the gathering which we were quite surprised to see him. Veteran yafex couldn’t make it because he had to meet with his father. So, we sat there, exchanging(?) files with each other.

Around 3 p.m., linkinstreet departed to the cinema along with Oyaji and Steno to watch Johnny Depp’s film, Public Enemies. The rest of us continue to entertain ourselves with the free WiFi, and animu. After 5 p.m., shah_ho_nam, Eccenterial, and ultimaweaponx arrived since they said that they are going to be late.

At 6 p.m., the gathering was over but shah_ho_nam suggested that we go to A&W for an October Fest which is quite strange because it is July. For the sake of pure randomness, I agreed. We went there and have a hell of blast drinking root beer since we can’t drink beer. It was fun and such. We did many crazy things such as me wearing a Japanese bandana with a flu mask, shah_ho_nam carried around his Guitar Hero’s guitar and wanvader wears a German helmet.

We went separate ways around 9 p.m., I said my goodbyes and I hope that they would hold another gathering like this.

Bon Odori 2009

I went to Bon Odori festival last Saturday which is located at Stadium Masushita in Shah Alam. Like always, this kind of festival tends to attract many people. So as a precaution I went there earlier with my friend, Musz. We arrived there before 5 p.m., but there were many people there already and it’s only getting started.

Before our other friends would come, we went and loitering around the field to see what kind of food they were selling at their stalls. As usual, there were many Japanese foods everywhere since is a festival about their Japanese and such, I also noticed that they were selling beers (Asahi), and the foods and beverages are actually in a price that you usually found in airports, or places like KLCC. Luckily there is a vendor that sells Livita for only RM1. Lucky me.

The festival was nice and awesome since there was a performance of people playing the taiko (Japanese traditional drum) and dancing on the stage which is located in the middle of the field. I joined to dance with the crowds down below the stage with my friends. It was tiring but fun, I stopped after dancing for like 45 minutes later.

During the events, I got the chance to meet three of my seniors which was surprised to see me there. I told them that I usually come for events such as this. We talked and they told me that if there were such event as this, make sure to invite them the next time. I only laughed a little because during my time in college, I usually get fucked up by people in my group just because my hobbies are different then theirs.

Around 10 p.m., after finishing camwhoring and taking pictures with each others, we said goodbyes to our friends and departed home. The sad part during this thing is when I saw the condition of the stadium which is as usual, is filled with garbage. People littered everywhere. It is seems so unlikely. I thought being to a place where people were educated enough, they would have the right common sense of to no litter but I was proven wrong. Apparently, being in a high educated people lost their common sense in all things. Which is a bother. Not to mention I managed to see a lot of underage kids were drunk and had their friends to carried them because they couldn’t even walk straight.

How could this happen? Seriously, why can’t people have a decent common sense inside of them? Alas, this is what most people would say about Malaysia; Even though most denied of something because of different races, we are united in doing something negative i.e. littering. Other than that, I would like all of you to think about it.

During this week, my mother goes and performs her ‘umrah’ in Mekah while my sister went to Johor for her job interview. Well, actually I lived with my sister. So, technically, I’m home alone. Desperate to find some entertainment and to kill my boredom, I asked a few of my friends to hang out at Mamak’s which only 3 agreed.

So, we head out to some Mamak Stall which is located at Wangsa Maju during midnight time. We sat and chat about old stuffs like previous school, what are you doing now, yadda, yadda, yadda. It is all the average talks that you usually have with your friends that sort of stuffs.

Suddenly, this group of girls sat right beside the table where we are at. It’s the usual typical girls that you usually found. Bouncy boobs, wears skimpy outfit, that type. The three of my moronic friends couldn’t help it but to stare at them (while covering that they aren’t, that is). I did managed to catch a glimpse but then lost interest as they are the type of girls you usually found everywhere.

As I continue sipping my ‘teh tarik’, my friends noticed that I wasn’t actually looking at the girls beside us. He asked me;”Dude, aren’t you gonna check that chicks out? They are totally hot.” Which I replied,”Nah, been there done that. Not my type anyway.” Then the three of them stared at me with this awkward looks. They were like, “Seriously man, being in Dungun for a long time made you lost interest into fine and attractive ladies.”

I told them which part of them that made them attractive? The skimpy outfit? Their figure? To me all of that doesn’t matter much. I told them that this sort of girls tend to be shallow and a gold-digger which they doesn’t care much about you, they just want you moolah. I wonder why guys really like to go out with girls like that. They know that the girls only want what’s in their pocket. Why would go out? Normally, I usually like this sort of girls. But unfortunately, I’ve seen the light. I’ve been dumped by girls like that for like over 10 times already. And I usually got over it and move on. Meh… What’s the big deal? I told myself that ‘She’s just not into you. So, move along…’

For me, I don’t care. I'm not that good looking. Not handsome. Not macho. Not dandy. Sometimes I even think myself as the unattractive guy in Malaysia. So I don't care about my partner appearance. Don't care even if she is taller than me or shorter than me. Even if she’s plain looking or doesn't wears makeup (which I think some girls shouldn't). Even if she’s got a scar on her face (which suprisingly really turns me on……). Don’t ask me why but I love girls who have scars on her body. Fetish? All that matters are she understands me and understands her. She respects my hobbies and she likes me the way I am and vice versa. Not to mention that she have a nice smile and smiles a lot. It doesn’t matter if I don’t get a hot supermodel as my girlfriend. All I want is a girl who I can have a click with. Someone that I can talk to. Chemistry matters in a relationship. If you don’t have that with your partner, then it will not be long.

But then again, most of the relationship that I’ve been with, I’m the one that screwed it up. Either it is intentionally or unintentionally. Who am I to kid? I’m not good with girls. I tend to speak something in my mind out loud. I don’t like waiting and I especially don’t like someone to be late. People really think it is inconsiderate of me for walking off but it’s her fault that made me wait for 1 hour like an idiot. If she have something to take care of, just call or something. But in the end, she’ll always make you look like the guilty one. But I don’t care. At least I got my family with me.

In the end, all of the things don’t matter. If God want you two to be together and you shall but if not, better keep on searching. Don’t give me this bullshit about waiting for the right one. God will not help those who doesn’t help themselves. If you want something, you better earned it. Kapisch? Well, I am still single at the moment and currently enjoying it. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! *sigh* I really wish I have someone I could spend my times with. Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen for the next few months.

The Good, The Evil and The Fool

Apparently something happened during the event of DaiCon in Cyberjaya that had caused a rage trollz in the internet. Some guy from a forum which I usually went stole a famous (?) voice actor a.k.a. seiyuu, Chihara Minori's mineral water bottle that she drank during her stage performance during the event. Usually I would go and stated; that is not my problem if that guy even want to steals her panties whatsoever because I don't know shit about that voice actor. All I know that she was the one that became Nagato Yuki's (from The Melancholy Suzumiya Haruhi) voice actor which I by the way doesn't get it with all the hype about that show.

Anyway, it would be fine if he would keep quite about what he's going to do about that bottle. Unfortunately he did something stupid. He posted on his blog about what he actually did to the bottle (which he drank it using the straw that Minori used). In response there were some cheering comments and of course there will be flaming comments about the act that he did. Then a friend of his or someone that know him posted what he thinks about the act in his blog. The friend wrote that he thinks that the act was foolishly foolhardy act and just plain dumb (something like that...).

The story then went to a quite famous (?) internet website with the fellow otas and then the story spread like wildfire. The website quoted the story from the friend's blog story and eventually everyone from other country noticed the act that the guy had done. Because of the website quoted the story from the friend's blog, some (?) of the fellow forummers blamed him for this (sorta...). Which in my case, it shouldn't be because it was the guy who first handedly wrote the stupid thing he did inside his own blog. The friend just commented on what the guy did was wrong.

The problem about this because of this, other people started to think bad about this country. Which is might cause a problem in the future. It was hard enough for fellow otas to defend their rights to watch animu, reading mango without being labeled as childish and being called perverts just because collected some figurines. Now we had to deal with this sort of stuff? What happened if some local newspaper (you know which paper I'm talking about) stumbled on the article that he wrote on his blog and wrote news about it? Did he even take that into consideration?

If the otas want newspapers to stop writing stupid things about their life, then stopped feeding them with something that is stupid like this! Not to mention that most people tend to judge the community based on some people's attitude. If one person made something stupid it is assumed that the community is filled with stupid people. Call this a rant or whatever you want. I'm just tired of hearing bad stuffs about the otas.

I don’t know either the guy was caught up on the hype during the event or was dared by his friend or simply did it because he wants to, but to write about it inside your own blog is something you shouldn’t do. Which in this case, it is too late because the thing had already spread. Alas, we are human and human are prone to make mistakes like this. Which I hope in the future, the guy will think carefully if he want to do something.

Oh yeah, to the forummer in the forum actually claimed that the friend had sold his friend off which in my case he hasn't. It is like what in the Imam Bukhari's hadith that said something like this; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam once said, "Help your brothers either he is doing something good or bad." A man asked, "Rasulullah , how do I help my brothers if he is doing something bad?" Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam answered, "You help him by stopping him by doing something bad. That is how you help him."

This hadith stated that a true friend would tell his friend to stop doing something bad because he is a true friend and concerned about his friend but a friend that only watch or does nothing while his friend is doing something bad couldn't possibly be considered as a true friend. Like a tabligh friend of mine always said; to critic doesn't mean to oppose, to agree doesn't mean to support, to admonish doesn't mean to despise, and to have different opinion is like to have a great friend. However this is the era where everything will turn upside down.

DaiCon Cyberjaya

The event just finished yesterday. And like some events in Malaysia they had something pro and con about it. DaiCon is one of them. This is just my overall opinion on the event itself.

Pros:
1- The Space. It was spacious, so I could walks around the Grand Hall without any complication. No wonder they called it the 'GRAND' Hall.
2- The Fee. It was free! ZOMGWTFBBQSAUCE! Meh... I was happy that they didn't charge fee for the entrance fee therefore would make that outsiders might want to come inside to see what is an Animu, Mango, Gamu Convention feels like. By outsiders I meant the people that are not into this sort of stuffs.
3- The Doujin Booth Fee. So I heard like they only like ask to pay the rent for like RM100++. I was like surprised. It was quite cheap for me.
4- The Doujin Booths. Have plenty of doujin booths but I didn't actually buy anything because too busy taking pictures.
5- The Hall Floorplan. The floorplan was okay. Wasn't too messy and people could walks around without any restriction.

Cons:
1- The Maid Cafe. When I first heard that they gonna make a Maid Cafe I was like ZOMGHAPPYDAYISMYFAVORITETHEMESONG but when I actually went inside it I was like facepalm.jpg. I am in the hospitality industry and I know how real cafe should look like but somehow it felt like it is more like a cafeteria than a cafe.
2- No Information Counter. Some parents were asking the booths near the entrance what this event is all about and some other things regarding the event. The management should take in consideration about the parents that are coming with their children to this convention. They want to know what their children is really up to. And some of the people in the booths doesn't have the time to entertain them which might caused a negative impression.
3- The Time Management. Somehow I felt that the time management was way off. Why can't you just announce the name of the winner of the cosplay competition the same day if the result can be produce within the same period of time.
4- The 'Blackup'. This is the most fucked up thing ever in the event. People were actually browsing the merchandises at the doujin booths but suddenly there is no light which cause the people lost their interest and left because they couldn't see shit! Sure the event is about Minorin but please take into consideration that there are people that doesn't know who the hell Minorin is and couldn't afford to buy the ticket.

Other than that, I think you guys made an AWSM event if I could think of. It just need some few things to take into consideration.

Apparently, I'm back from the depth of somewhere to blogging in my own blog. Too many things that I've forgotten including my own password to this blog. OH SHI-! But seriously, I'm currently addicted to all CSI series. Have been watching it for the past 6 months. Not only that I'm currently watching Reaper, Supernatural, Chuck and so much more.

As for animation, I'm currently watching Gundam 00 which is on it's second season, Macross Frontier, Code Geass R2 and there are so many animation to be listed in here. Unfortunately, I'm in my examination weeks right now, so I can't watch some of the series. Have to study for my finals. Hahahahahaha

Well, until then, I'll bid you guys farewell.

Respect… A word that people wouldn’t fully understands. How can some people lose their respect on their leader? Insulting him like he has done something bad to them. I simply can pity those types of people. Heck... they even want other people to respect them but they don’t show a good example of people that should be respect at.

Like somebody once said; I’m not afraid of God. I love God. I only afraid of His wrath if I do bad things. It’s the same as why you obey your parent’s order. It’s not about fear but respect.

To be honest, I’ve seen so many people like this. They want others to respect them but they don’t respect other people. Hey dude, if you want people to respect you, you got to earn it. This is my short entry for today but remember, respect others and people will respect you. Peace and out.

I’m going all broke right now. Ya ha!! I’m cutting my comic money by simply downloading the comic from the internet. But it’s hard to find Marvel or DC comic in the internet. I guess I’ve to buy those Spider-Man and Batman comic books. Arrgghh!! The boredom is killing me. Don’t have works to do and no money in my pocket. What to do? I guess I’ve to resort to other route. Maybe I could find a job at some restaurant nearby. Shishishishi~

But seriously, I’ve tried to find job but seems unavailable at the moment. Maybe because of the ex-SPM takers are on the loose to look for jobs. They got there before I did. Bah! Its okay I guess. I will try to find another job. I really hate people that talk big but didn’t do it. They then will give excuses for not doing the thing. Stated that want to do this and that but in the end none. Nothing at all. You're talking the talk but you ain't walking the walk man.

It’s true that those with too much power they fall down in history. Because when with too much power, people will lose sense of their own common sense. They will be clouded with their own lust for more power and not thinking of anyone else. They will think that they are right all the time while other people make mistakes. Not being able to take criticism or opinions. Well, it’s their funeral.

Alas, I’m as a human being can’t escape from the fact that I will also make some mistakes in my life. All that good came from Allah S.W.T. while the wrong came from me. That is how we can improve ourselves. Till then, Yo ho ho ho!

Isn’t it ironic of these world have turned into? I mean sometimes something can be derailed from its main objective after a few years. The best example is the parties that are in our country. UMNO’s main objective was supposedly to be helping the people for the better life but now it actually more to pleasing their own members’ life. For the last 20 years, Dr. Mahathir had been standing up for our country in the Western countries. Yet, after he stepped down from his position, most people criticize him. Why can’t we do like what Singapore did when their own minister stepped down from his position? They made him as the country’s advisor. Why can’t we do that to Dr. Mahathir?

As history itself clearly proclaims that the Malay only strong when they are actually fighting among themselves. Ah yes, on how the Malays can be in cahoots with the British just to fight among themselves just to satisfy their lust for power and money. It actually happened in Naning, Klang and some other places. Why? Because we are greedy. We only think of ourselves not other. We like to use people as the stepping stones to moves up to the sky. We like to see other people suffer than to feel it ourselves. We will forget about the people who once helped us in achieving what we have achieved today. People will eventually forget about the great things the person had done to them. Hey, a person who doesn’t know about his history will eventually repeat the history again. But remember that if you receive a little kindness, give them a large serving.

Come to think about it, why the government keeps on sucking our money from us. Why can’t they suck other countries’ money? Looks at Germany, they give 40% off for their local cars to their own countrymen but sell them with the usual price to other countries. Instead, our country gives the benefits to the other countries and leeches the money from their own countrymen. What’s up with that? They said for making the revenue higher but can’t they take other countries’ money instead of us? Alas, I’m just a nobody. I would like take the blame in joining you in doing absolutely nothing. Seeing the school kids going to school everyday in front of my house reminds me off my schooldays. I envy them for having nothing big to be worried about. No bills to be paid, no need to work to obtain money and so on. But then, the school kids are eager to grow up to become adults. I guess it is true that people said that people will not be satisfied in whatever state they are. They will eventually regrets something when it already in the past. That is why school children, remember this; Listen to the teachers, learn the golden rule, learn your roots and culture and be true to yourselves. Once the time is already gone, it will not comeback. Take this advice from me, the person that is regretting for his past schooldays. Sure, homework sucks, teacher bites, rules are ridiculous but imagine of actually not knowing what to do in the future later on. Stay cool kids, stay in school.

Also remember that when you obtain knowledge, don’t get cocky with it. Share it with other people. Everybody have their own abilities in some aspects. Don’t be ignorant and stingy with your knowledge. I’m good with my cooking skills but I’m not stingy with my knowledge. I would never look down on people that doesn’t know how to cook instead I will teach them all I know about cooking if I got the chance. People like to boast about their talents that they are forgetting that they also lacking in other aspect just like other people. Like ‘Oooh.. I’m so good with my computer while you’re not. Boo hooo hooo... You are an idiot.’ Don’t be that, that is they way morons would act because they know that they doesn’t have other talents than their own special skills. That is the real piece of thrash.

I am hating fast food right now. I don’t know why but I hate ‘em. Sure people said that they are fast and cheap but too me, it’s not worthy. Take a look at those ingredients inside them. Urrgghhh… Made me shivers. I prefer to cook myself than to order one of those. If you are eating them occasionally, that if fine but don’t eat them like all the time. It’s bad for your body.

There is a guy who I knew that once said to his friend (which I also know) that he wants to cut lose some weight but still eating fast foods. What’s up with that? Dude, you want to lose some weight but you don’t exercise and still eating fast food? You want to stay in that condition for the rest of your life? I take one of my seniors for an example. He is really big in size. I mean, much bigger than the guy that I’ve mentioned but yet he has some motivation inside of him to eat less and exercise more. Heck, he even walks to class for some times and only uses his motorcycle when he is really in a hurry. Now that’s something. It’s okay to gain a few pounds but just keep in shape will ya? I Know You’re Fat, You’re Fat - - But Do You Know It?

Also, nowadays how people shunned the good side and taking over the bad side. Pretending nothing is wrong with what they are doing. It’s seem like that heaven and hell doesn’t even exist anymore. Oh sure, when it comes to religion people can’t talk about it in the internet message board because its against the rules of that place but people can talk about sex related stuff? Funny… What ever happened to the fact that there are minors in the internet message board? Even you put the word ‘Over 18 Only’ like they would listen to it. Only God knows why. But like what my sister and her friends told me never argue with these types of people because they are morons. They know it’s wrong but denying it.

Oh yeah, something amusing just happened to me. I just heard that people can actually don't have to get married if they don’t want to. My ustaz which is a kadi said that; “Rasulullah S.A.W. will hate his followers if they shunned or hated marriage.” Well, does that means that people don’t have to get married just because they don’t want to not because the hated it? Who knows? But I want to get married in the future. Marriage is a wonderful thing. Sure it will come with responsibilities and parenthood and such but it will prevents me from doing some other unwanted stuff like pre-marital sex. But I’ve to admit that I do watched some porn but if that makes my to control my hormones, I don’t care about the consequences. Heck, most of the men watched porn and so does the girls. But that is a secret to them.

Alas, it is up to Allah S.A.W. to judge me, not others. I only can give advice to others. Either they want to accept it, it’s their own decision. All I know that I’ve done my part as a Muslim on behalf of Rasulullah S.A.W. Until then, I bid you guys farewell.

Spiderman 3

-Way to go intoducing venom in the final half hour of the movie and killing him. Venom was a pussssssy! He didnt even try going after spiderman by himself first. DEAR GOD! WHY!? I just kept hoping for something cool to happen.
-Dancing? In a superhero movie? No thanks.
-Downright laughable lines. I was laughing at the lines, not the movie.
-Plot hole here and there...
-Spider-Man teaming up with the "New Goblin"... This isnt Batman. There iss a reason Spider-Man works alone and its to avoid stupid one liners.
-Raimi could have just said "I don't like Spider-Man" instead of blowing 250 million on this.
-On a side note.....Bruce Cambell owns. His cameo made me happy.

Pirates of Carribean 3: At The World's End

-Will's death was pointless and anticlimactic as was Norrington's, Sao Feng's and Governor Swann's. Even Beckett's very well produced death was made moot by the fact that he had ZERO character development.
-Pointless action in the movie.
-Somewhat this movie is too damn long that made me feel bored looking at it. Luckily, there was the witty Jack Sparrow.

Shrek The Third

-Too short; one and half hour.
-Repeated jokes and used ones.
-What happened to Shrek? Since when he cared about others?

Aaaahh... For the past few days I didn't do anything but to do nothing at all. Well, I did help my friend carrying his stocks to his shop and I go for my friend's wedding. But to be honest, I'm quite lazy these days. With nothing to do, I even woke up late. Been watching too many movies lately. I have watched Platoon, Little Nicky, Pirate's of the Caribbean trilogy, The Mask of Zorro and so on and so on. I think most of the movies I have watched. Want to catch up with all the movies that I have missed for the few months in the hostel.

Still wasn't able to find a job. Most to them doesn't need any kitchen people. Drat, curses. I seriously need some loo right now. Those scallywags. I've been spending a lot of money in the past few months that I didn't even have enough money for the holiday. Arrrgghhh!! Spent it on assignments and some works. Damn you! Daaaaaaaaaamn yooooooooou!! If only I were richer or have a job right now. Aaaah... Let's pray to God that I will not do desperate things to get some money.

My sister said that my new haircut looks like a Mohawk. Maybe it does. Kind of reminded me of David Spade in his movie; Meet Joe Dirt. Talking about marriage, two of my fellow friends got married. Hah, one is we surely thought that he will get married eventually while the other one took us by surprised in getting married. Either way, Godspeed for those two. Hope that their relationship can stand until the end. Shishishishshishi....

If I were going to get married, I want to have a simple wedding. Maybe just the 'akad nikah' only. For the wedding ceremony? I think I want to invite close family and close friends. Yeah, I am cheap. I hate wasting my money in something like this. Hey, it's not cheap to do a wedding ceremony, you know. I've been into Hotel Management and Cooking, so I know the cost for everything. My friend wedding's cost him nearly RM25, 000. Wow! Just the ceremony not the dowry. But I don't know if I were rich in the future, there might be a grand wedding. Who knows...?

Today, my sister and I adopt a cat. We called her M.J. I will post her pictures later on. Until then drink up, mateys!

We Are Who We Are

A knife can only bring happiness when used in cooking. That is why I want to learn how to cook. So that I don’t have to depends on other people in cooking. Even tho it might not bring happiness to other people but it made me happy. People often like to think about what other people think about them that they are forgetting to be themselves. They seem to like to be somebody else rather than themselves just to hide who they are. I’ve learn my lesson when I dealt with this type of people.

Yes, I admit that I enjoy watching Hindustani movies, I cry in most touching scenes, and I will get offensive if someone said something bad about my religion. I once debated with a moronic American in an instant messenger about the insulting caricature of The Prophet, Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. He claimed that the Muslims were being overreacting about the issue. That it was not a big deal. I told him that it was a big deal and we, the Muslims respect The Prophet very much. Then he said that people made fun of Jesus Christ but the Christians never do anything. I backfire and said that the jokes about Jesus Christ were made by the fellow Christians themselves while the caricature was not made by the Muslims by the non-Muslims. Some nerves he has by saying that.

But hey, he is from America, where most of all things are legal, even same sex marriage. So there, as some of the fellow Muslims in Malaysia remain quite while other only blabbers in some local forums on how injustice about the thing, other Muslims from other country was actually trying to seek justice about it. And yet still been labeled as overreacting action which was also said by a fellow Muslims itself. Ironic isn’t it?

To put matter worst, some of the Muslims that I know even stated that being too strict with Islamic belief will make you get left behind by the society. I’ve wrote this in my last post. In his post, he wrote something that sounds like by being with Islamic belief, we will get left behind. But hey, Islam never discourages its worshipers from being modern. It just that don’t get too caught up with the flow that you are forgetting the roots, that’s all. But these people get too caught up with the world that they are forgetting about the roots. All of the things that are illegal in Islam are legal to them and an okay. Their motto is; You don’t bother us, we don’t you. Go ahead and do whatever you like.

Also get this, every time you try to advice a Malay Muslim, he will said something like this; If you want to preach others, make sure you have the full knowledge first. Hey, does that means that everyone are not worthy of giving an advice? Cool… A person also said that; It is like a doctor giving advice on how to repair a car. Keep me wondering; What if the doctor does know how to repair the car than the mechanic? In this world anything can happen. Everyone is rushing to gain more knowledge which is unlimited. You can never satisfy your needs for knowledge because it will never be. I am a cook but I know how to repair stuff, I know about computers, I know about a lot of stuff.

My advice for these type of person, try to take some advice from everyone. If you kept on looking down to other person just because you think you have gained more knowledge than them, then you are the one that will loose. Sometimes you never know what knowledge that other person has. It never kills to just listen on what the other person said to you. That's all.

Being Born As A Muslim

Assalamualaikum

Today, I cut my hair because my friend told me my hair was messy. Wooarrghh! I cut my hair! In mid term break! Even worse, it cost me 9 bucks! Ha ha ha ha ha..... But cut to the case.. I'm going to preach about some important matter.

After seeing what happens to most of my converted Muslims cousin that aren't from the original Muslim family made me feel glad that I was born as a Muslim. You see, several days ago, a girl who I knew, converted into Islam without her parents and family knowing about it. She is 24 years old and really nice. What happened was, her family knows about it and guess what they did? They locked her up, drugged her and tortured her for 3 days. We manage to save her from her OWN family.

Is it that bad to be a Muslim in the eyes of the non-Muslims? Yes, I know we as the Malay Muslims in Malaysia aren't being a very good example to them. Most of the crimes in this country was committed by the so called Malay Muslims. We do as we please even tho it is against our own religion belief. That girl's father even said that he rather her daughter to convert into other religion other than Islam. If not, he would rather kill her himself. Shocking isn't it? Surely the cases of women abused in marriage was done by the Malay Muslims. That is why we get the different looks by the non-Muslims.

We want to be too modern that we forget everything. We drink alcohol, we have pre-marital sex, in fact we did everything we could just that we become modern. Heck, even I heard someone in a local forum claimed that by going back to roots of Islam, you are being left behind by the society, not going with the flow and not thinking outside the box. We are too obsessed with other people think about us that we are forgetting about what Allah S.W.T. think about us, the Muslims. Remember, we are Muslims, we should remember that. No matter what happens, we should retain our Islam dignity.

Sure you can call me thrash or anything. Heck.. Even I know that someone will talk bad about me after this but it's okay. Like what my friend said; No matter what happen, always believe that Allah S.W.T. is always with you. Sure you can say that nowadays, it is okay for women not to wear their hijab, it is okay to to follow the westerners' wrong way of living, but you all know that it is wrong and you can't run away from it forever.

For the things that people committed, they are beginning to love this world way to much that they are forgetting about Allah S.W.T. love. If you truly believe in Allah S.W.T. and love Rasulullah S.A.W., try not forget about Islam.
