Metal Gear Solid Movie Announced

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

During the stage presentation at the Metal Gear Anniversary event in Tokyo, Hideo Kojima confirmed that there was still a Metal Gear movie project in the works with Avi Arad producing after several years of chatter about a Metal Gear Solid movie and apparently the project was at one time moving forward. Then, the movie project simply died off.

Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima explains that he had been searching for years for a suitable production team to create a fitting movie adaptation, but with the availability of Avi Arad to oversee things and his reputed success at adapting American comic book classics (or Marvel comics at any rate) he had confidence he would do Snake justice as well.

The Expendables 2 The Review

Assalamualaikum / Peace be Upon You

The Expendables are back and this time it's personal... Last week, the second movie of The Expendables had been released worldwide. I went and watch the movie yesterday. I'm a fan of action heroes movies since I was a little kid. I've been watching Terminator movies, Die Hard movies, Universal Soldier movies and other action movies. Let me get this fact right, The Expendables movies are made as a tribute towards all of those action movies thus you are not watching it for the plot or storyline but for the action scenes.

The story stars off where the Expendables went to Nepal to rescue a Chinese billionaire only to find Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to be captured also by the guerrilla when he was going to rescue the billionaire. As the story progress, they introduced to the newest member of the group, Billy The Kid (Liam Hemsworth) who is an ex-sniper of the U.S. Army that served during the war at Afghanistan. During this scene, Yin Yang (Jet Li) only made an appearance for about 15 minutes of the movie since his character had to deliver the billionaire back to his country.
